What a night! The 2025 Patmos Library Trunk or Treat was one for the books — and Shield Insurance Agency was thrilled to be part of the fun once again!
Families filled the parking lot for an evening packed with candy, costumes, creativity, and community spirit. We loved seeing so many smiling faces stop by each trunk — every one of our awesome trunk hosts went above and beyond this year! From silly setups to spooky themes, you all made the event a total treat. 
A huge thank you goes out to Officer Apolo and the Jamestown Fire Department for joining in the fun and keeping everyone safe. The fire trucks were a major hit — kids had the best time climbing inside, pretending to be firefighters, and even snapping photos from the driver’s seat! 
And let’s talk about the food… because Patty Matters absolutely stole the show! Their gourmet burger lineup had something for everyone — and every bite was a flavor explosion. Here were just a few of the crowd favorites:
The Brewster – Beer cheese, bacon, and onion rings on a pretzel bun (an instant classic!)
BBQ Bacon Cheddar – Smoky, cheesy, and perfectly messy — the ultimate comfort burger.
Spicy Peanut Butter Burger – Jalapeño, bacon, cheddar, and peanut butter — the unexpected combo that worked!
Whether you went classic, adventurous, or somewhere in between, Patty Matters delivered the perfect bite to match the evening’s energy. 
As the sun set over Hudsonville, kids ran from trunk to trunk, laughter filled the air, and our community came together in the best possible way. These are the moments that remind us why we love what we do — building connections, supporting local events, and celebrating the people who make our town so special. 
We’re already counting down the days until next year’s Trunk or Treat! Thank you again to Patmos Library, all the volunteers, trunk hosts, and families who made the night a success. You make events like this so memorable — and we couldn’t do it without you.
