What is PedALS?
PedALS is more than just a cycling event; it’s a movement that brings together individuals, families, and organizations to raise awareness and funds for families affected by Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS). ALS is a progressive neurodegenerative disease that affects nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord, ultimately leading to loss of muscle control. The challenges faced by ALS families are immense, both emotionally and financially. PedALS aims to alleviate some of these burdens by providing crucial support services, resources, and financial assistance.
