Here\u2019s what you can do now to get ready.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">3 steps to get ready for 2019 tax season filing:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Look for Form 1095-A.<\/strong><ul><li>If you or anyone in your household had a 2019 Marketplace plan, you\u2019ll get&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.healthcare.gov\/tax-form-1095\/\">Form 1095-A, Health Insurance Marketplace Statement<\/a>&nbsp;in the mail by early February. It comes from the Marketplace, not the IRS.<\/li><li>It may also be available online in your HealthCare.gov account.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li><strong>Check Form 1095-A for accuracy.<\/strong><ul><li>You\u2019ll use Form 1095-A to&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.healthcare.gov\/taxes-reconciling\/\">&#8220;reconcile&#8221;<\/a>&nbsp;your premium tax credit if you used advanced payments of the premium tax credit to lower your monthly premium payment, so it\u2019s important the information on it is correct. If you file with an incorrect version, you may need to file an amended return later.<\/li><li>Confirm things like your coverage and household information, monthly enrollment premium, and&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.healthcare.gov\/glossary\/second-lowest-cost-silver-plan-slcsp\">\u201csecond lowest cost Silver Plan\u201d (SLCSP)<\/a>.<\/li><li>If you find errors,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.healthcare.gov\/contact-us\/\">contact the Marketplace Call Center.<\/a>&nbsp;We\u2019ll send you an updated copy.
