I saw the fish and I saw him drop it,\u201d said Rhesa Walston of Beaufort, North Carolina.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The catfish smashed straight into her windshield.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It happened so quickly she didn\u2019t have time to react.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThere was glass all over my front seat\u2026glass on my lap,\u201d Walston told ABC News.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After making sure her daughter in the back seat was safe, Walston contacted her family and her insurance company. Family members tracked down the fish (apparently, catfish dropped from high altitudes bounce) and took pictures to corroborate her catch.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"alignright\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.iii.org\/insuranceindustryblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/Fish_tale2.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.iii.org\/insuranceindustryblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/Fish_tale2-226x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-8228\"\/><\/a><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p>Walston told ABC News she will have to pay the $250 deductible on her comprehensive auto policy \u2014 not a huge price for a story the family will be telling for years to come.&nbsp;&nbsp;Animal damage is covered if you have optional comprehensive coverage.
