The bears will be released in a &#8220;suitable habitat&#8221; and the agency said no trapped animals will be euthanized as part of the project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The bears are responsible for&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cbsnews.com\/news\/south-lake-tahoe-bear-california-hank-the-tank-breaks-into-home\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">more than 150 incident reports<\/a>&nbsp;in the region straddling Northern California and Nevada, including a break-in at a residence in the Tahoe Keys neighborhood last week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Fish and Wildlife has concluded that Hank may not even be responsible for any of the break-ins over the last seven months, officials said on Thursday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;Hank is not the culprit,&#8221; Bear League Director Ann Bryant&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cbsnews.com\/news\/hank-the-tank-bear-south-lake-tahoe-police-inundated-calls\/\">told CBS San Francisco<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;Just like they
