1. Write Important Information on Paper<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

During a power outage, your cell phone is your lifeline and you\u2019re likely to want to keep it charged in case of an emergency.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Because you can\u2019t depend on your phone indefinitely, write down phone numbers and addresses you might need, such as a nearby hospital, a school that\u2019s providing supplies, the local library or storm shelter, or other public places that might have power\u2014places where you\u2019ll be able to go to recharge your electronics and contact loved ones.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
